Technical Operator
Job Summary
- A Technical Operator job is to ensure the plant is utilized efficiently to achieve daily production targets and also track daily production performance and maintain plant assets.
Responsibilities:
- To operate and maintain the machine towards ensuring that the machine delivers full products at maximum efficiency – at the required balanced performance – with minimum waste.
- Ensures shift/line production plan execution, by optimizing performance in area of responsibility in respect of Operational Health and Safety, Production Output and Product Quality while minimizing the impact on the environment.
- Carry out equipment monitoring as per checklist, document findings and recommend actions to be taken. Write equipment shift operation report.
- Lubricate equipment as specified in the lubrication chart and documentation. Clean and wash all stains on equipment after lubrication.
- Ensure all safety sensors, reflectors & safety controls are in good working condition.
- Use all company-provided protective wear and gadgets and comply with all Health and Safety rules.

- Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices, food safety practices, good environmental management systems, and occupational Health and Safety practices in all line activities.
- Any other assigned duties.
Requirements
The Technical Operator is expected to have:
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering/Applied Sciences (BSc/HND).
- A minimum of 0 -1 year experience in plant operations and maintenance.
- Sound understanding of engineering basics.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
