Job Summary

• A Technical Operator job is to ensure the plant is utilized efficiently to achieve daily production targets and also track daily production performance and maintain plant assets.

Responsibilities:

• To operate and maintain the machine towards ensuring that the machine delivers full products at maximum efficiency – at the required balanced performance – with minimum waste.
• Ensures shift/line production plan execution, by optimizing performance in area of responsibility in respect of Operational Health and Safety, Production Output and Product Quality while minimizing the impact on the environment.    
• Carry out equipment monitoring as per checklist, document findings and recommend actions to be taken. Write equipment shift operation report.
• Lubricate equipment as specified in the lubrication chart and documentation. Clean and wash all stains on equipment after lubrication.
• Ensure all safety sensors, reflectors & safety controls are in good working condition.
• Use all company-provided protective wear and gadgets and comply with all Health and Safety rules.
• Use all company-provided protective wear and gadgets and comply with all Health and Safety rules.
• Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices, food safety practices, good environmental management systems, and occupational Health and Safety practices in all line activities.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements

The Technical Operator is expected to have: 

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering/Applied Sciences (BSc/HND).
• A minimum of 0 -1 year experience in plant operations and maintenance.
• Sound understanding of engineering basics.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
