Senior Supervisor (Operations / Maintenance / Contract Engineer)
Work Experience
- Minimum of 5 years working as a Pipeline field operations or maintenance support
- Technician or permit coordinator in an oil and gas producing field location.
- Supervised at least 5 in-service Pipeline Repairs spanning Land, Swamp and Offshore Terrain
Key Interfaces: Pipeline RoW, SOC/Security, HSE team, Community Relations
Skills (Added advantage)
- Ability to read and interpret process engineering flow schemes (PEFS) and process documents.
- Skill level knowledge in running/managing in permit systems.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
- Problem-solving and good analytical skills.
- Self-Motivated and performs under minimal supervision.
- Experience in leading and supervising others in field tasks.
- Experience in site project supervision and commissioning.
Soft Skills
- Ability to understand and perform Pipeline operations/maintenance.
- Ability to understand unit of various variables i.e., pressure, volume, flowrate etc.
- Onsite Hazards identification and Risk assessment capability.
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Problem-solving and good analytical skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
- He/she will be responsible for the following:
- Lead a team of field personnel (and vendors) to deliver simple and complex activities at work site.
- Manage the shutdown permit and isolation management process.
- Apply the emergency response procedure where and when necessary.
- Report and close out UA/UC.
- Serves as PTW signatory.
- Apply the HSSE policy, legislations applicable to crude oil transfer and export.
- Adhere to operational procedures.
- Monitor, control and record production rates and performance.
- Start-up and commissioning of facilities.
- Perform daily first line monitoring of process parameters and variables.
- Participate in Daily notification and YTT review meeting.
- Ensure optimized chemical injection rates are followed as advised.
- Prepare equipment for maintenance interventions.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to execute planned activities.
- Supervise preparation of equipment for maintenance including isolation, draining, steaming, and other procedures as required.
- Follow-up Procurement for ordered spares and materials until delivery.
- Raise and achieve budgetary approval for procurement of materials and services.
- To enable the end-to-end process of material purchasing using Companies Material
- Management “ways of working” and manage the Requisition-to-Pay (RtP) Process.
