Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled MHSEQ Engineer who possesses a strong background in quality assurance, safety, and environmental management.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the oil and gas and construction industries, demonstrating a proven track record of ensuring compliance with quality standards and implementing robust safety measures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance programs and processes.
- Conduct thorough inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality-related issues.
- Oversee safety and environmental initiatives to create a secure and sustainable work environment.
- Implement safety protocols and measures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Stay abreast of environmental regulations and ensure company adherence.
- Lead ISO audits for safety and environmental management systems.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of the oil and gas and construction industries to enhance QA/QC processes.
- Provide technical expertise in identifying and mitigating risks associated with project execution.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate quality measures into all phases of the project life cycle.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance the understanding of QA/QC, safety, and environmental policies.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the MHSEQ framework.
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in Senior QA/QC Engineer in the oil and gas and construction sectors.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to MHSEQ in the energy industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
- Experience in developing and implementing MHSEQ management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001.
- Knowledge of hazard identification and risk assessment techniques.
- Experience in incident investigation and reporting, including root cause analysis and corrective action development.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and develop reports and presentations for management.
- Certification in relevant MHSEQ management
