Job Summary:

• We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled  MHSEQ Engineer who possesses a strong background in quality assurance, safety, and environmental management.
• The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the oil and gas and construction industries, demonstrating a proven track record of ensuring compliance with quality standards and implementing robust safety measures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance programs and processes.
• Conduct thorough inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality-related issues.
• Oversee safety and environmental initiatives to create a secure and sustainable work environment.
• Implement safety protocols and measures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Stay abreast of environmental regulations and ensure company adherence.
• Lead ISO audits for safety and environmental management systems.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
• Utilize extensive knowledge of the oil and gas and construction industries to enhance QA/QC processes.
• Provide technical expertise in identifying and mitigating risks associated with project execution.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate quality measures into all phases of the project life cycle.
• Conduct training sessions to enhance the understanding of QA/QC, safety, and environmental policies.
• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the MHSEQ framework.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in Senior QA/QC Engineer in the oil and gas and construction sectors.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to MHSEQ in the energy industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
• Experience in developing and implementing MHSEQ management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001.
• Knowledge of hazard identification and risk assessment techniques.
• Experience in incident investigation and reporting, including root cause analysis and corrective action development.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data and develop reports and presentations for management.
• Certification in relevant MHSEQ management
