Responsibilities

• Taking record of previous and current day’s financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and proper categorization.
• Preparing a concise summary of the company’s financial position, including cash balance, outstanding receivables, and payables.
• Analyze financial trends and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify potential areas for improvement or concerns.
• Assess current financial processes and controls, identifying opportunities for streamlining and enhancing efficiency.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Sales, and the leadership team to discuss ongoing initiatives, such as optimizing working capital or evaluating potential expansion into new markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus3+ years of progressive experience in financial management, with a track record of success in startups, fintech, payments, or other high-growth technology sectors Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• An entrepreneurial-mind with a knack for solving problems and establishing processes.
• A proven track record of meeting and exceeding performance expectations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks, Xero) and excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong understanding of the financial industry, with an emphasis on fintech products and services.

• Prior experience in the fintech industry or emerging markets is a plus.
