Scrum Master
Responsibilities
- Facilitate and lead Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
- Coach and mentor the development team on Agile principles and best practices.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and maintain a well-defined product backlog.
- Shield the team from external interference and distractions, ensuring focus on sprint goals.
- Identify and escalate impediments to the team’s progress and actively work to resolve them.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the development team.
- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and stakeholders to optimize the overall Agile process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent certification.
- Candidate MUST have over two (2) years of experience in Project Management
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles, values, and frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to facilitate and drive decision-making in a collaborative team setting.
- Experience with Jira or other Agile project management tools.
- Continuous learning mindset and willingness to adapt to evolving Agile practices.
