About the job
- A Sales Engineer will be responsible for improving the company’s revenue by managing existing customers and developing relationships with customers to create potential leads for the business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with a sales executive to plan, prepare, and execute strategic deals
- Develop and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to meet potential clients needs
- Generating high-quality sales leads, following up after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales, and arranging deliveries.
- Create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers
- Keep abreast with all organizational changes and business developments
- Building relationships with customers and potential customers to understand their requirements.
- Production of quotations for customers in a clear, detailed, and accurate manner.
- Attending exhibitions, conferences, and other events as organized by the business
- Prospecting and visiting potential new OEM customers
- Identifying areas for improvement and communicating these issues, as well as possible solutions, to top management.
- Setting and achieving sales goals and quotas
- Support the team by providing sales research and product knowledge expertise.
- Soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data
- Regularly provide updates on the market competition analysis and trends.
Qualifications and Experience
- BSc in either Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any related course
- 3-4 years of relevant work experience in engineering product sales
- Good leadership and teamwork skills.
- The ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
- Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
