Job type: Full-timeKey Responsibilities
- Supervise quality control inspectors and ensure adherence to established quality control procedures.
- Conduct inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with standards.
- Identify and document quality issues, deviations, and defects, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to improve processes and minimize defects.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Maintain detailed quality reports, test results, and inspection records for internal and external audits.
- Train and guide QC staff on proper inspection techniques and quality standards.
- Monitor and enforce good manufacturing practices (GMP), HACCP, and ISO requirements.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure raw material quality meets company standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing overall product quality and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Quality Control, Industrial Engineering, Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality control/quality assurance, preferably in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance techniques, statistical process control, and industry regulations.
- Experience with ISO, HACCP, GMP, and other quality management systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce quality standards consistently.
