Psychologist
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide individual and group counselling sessions for key population members.
- Develop and implement psychosocial support programs tailored to the unique needs of key populations.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and community leaders, to promote mental health awareness and access to services.
- Provide training and capacity-building sessions on mental health topics within the organization and the community.
- Conduct research and evaluations to assess the impact of psychosocial interventions on key population members’ well-being.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field.
- Proven experience in providing psychosocial support and counselling to diverse populations, preferably within an NGO or community-based setting.
- Strong understanding of mental health issues facing key populations and familiarity with trauma-informed care approaches.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and inclusive environment.
