Project Officer
Duties and responsibilities of the project officer
The Project Officer will have to:
- Liaise with all French and Nigerian Higher Education Institutions and partners participating in the project,
- Organise meetings, prepare agenda and minutes,
- Implement project activities,
- Manage budget, project expenses and accounting,
- Define communication strategy, develop and implement digital communication actions,
- Manage all documents, down to final report production,
- Participate in final report writing.
Qualification
- Master’s degree, preferably in Social Science, Management or Project/Development studies from a French Higher Education Institution.
Knowledge & Experience
- Perfect command of French (C2) and a very good command of English (B2/C1),
- Very good knowledge of the French academic world and good knowledge of the Nigerian higher education system,
- An understanding of French public accounting rules,
- Experience in digital communication.

- Autonomous with strong sense of organization, detail oriented and problem solver,
- Strong social skills and ease of contact with public institutions, Nigerian and foreign companies and universities,
- Ability to work in a multicultural and multidisciplinary team,
