Program Manager
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage program plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including donors, beneficiaries, partners, and internal teams.
- Secure funding for projects through grant writing, fundraising activities, and partnership development.
- Monitor program progress, identify and address risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Manage project budgets and ensure responsible use of resources.
- Prepare and submit regular project reports to donors and stakeholders.
- Conduct project evaluations to assess their impact and identify areas for improvement.
- Supervise and motivate project staff, ensuring they meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices in project management and the NGO sector.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as development studies, public administration, or non-profit management.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Program Manager in the NGO sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from conception to completion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, such as MS Project or Asana
