We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Production Planning & Scheduling Analyst

Location: Onne, Rivers

Department: Supply Chain

Duration: Fixed Term duration of 18 months

Responsibilities

  • Supervises the preparation of the production program estimating production needs, considering plant capacity and identifying any operational restrictions such as tooling and operating sequence.
  • Flags criticalities affecting compliance with production orders and coordinates the implementation of identified remedial actions.
  • Builds and updates project schedules, shares schedule updates with internal and external stakeholders
  • Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
  • Ensures the production programs are completed in due time and manner coordinating corrective actions when necessary, analyzing required inputs for production and ensuring an appropriate equipment operation.
  • Tracks coating raw materials consumption and ensures availability of minimum stock to fulfil available orders. 
  • Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.

Attributes of Desired Candidate

  • First Degree in Engineering or a Physical Science related course
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of how to use Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 will be an added advantage.
  • Good interpersonal, teamwork, reporting and presentation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Critical thinking and proactive mindset
  • Good knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc).
