About the Role 

• We have an exciting opportunity to join the Reliance Health Product Marketing team.
• As Product Marketing Specialist, you’ll be honing your product marketing skill set while helping us expand our presence in a key market segment.
• You’ll play an important role telling our brand and product story and helping us nail our ideal customer profile as we further solidify our leading position in market.
• You’ll report to and be coached by the Senior Product Marketing Manager, while working closely with sales, corporate retention, the wider brand and growth team and our product teams.  
• We’re looking for someone who’s naturally curious, a strong writer and enjoys research whether it’s web based or involves speaking to customers or prospects.  

What you’ll be Doing

• Research and become the expert on your market segment. Speaking to customers and prospects to understand their frustrations, motivations and expectations. 
• Adapt Reliance Health messaging to resonate with your market segment, and to serve greater PMM objectives: in presentations, one pagers, and other materials that help sales win deals. 
• Observe and learn from sales cycles to ensure we understand the impact of, and gaps in current messaging.  
• Keep an eye on competitors to help us highlight how we differentiate 
• Work with product, clinical services, sales and the wider team to translate your market learnings into a product that delivers on the needs of our target customers. 
• Expand your skill set while supporting the Senior PMM in positioning, enablement, market and competitive intelligence. 

Requirements

You would be great for this role if you have:

• A Bachelor’s degree and/or 2 years of experience in communications, content, customer research or a related field 
• Strong writing skills and a love of research 
• A knack for asking good questions 
• Strong presentation skills 
• Confidence in managing multiple stakeholders and projects 

We’d be particularly excited if you have:

• Knowledge of the Health, Insurance or Health Tech industry 
• Fluency in Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa
