Job description: Job Description:We’re searching for a Principal Project Manager to spearhead the end-to-end development and execution of groundbreaking gas infrastructure initiatives, most notably, a state-of-the-art Virtual Pipeline (VPL) system. From concept design to commercialization, you’ll be the engine behind delivering one of DEL’s most ambitious gas infrastructure undertakings.Who are we searching for?

• You’re a project delivery expert, with a history of taking large-scale gas infrastructure projects from paper to profit.
• You’re deeply technical, with a strong grasp of LNG/CNG systems, compression, virtual pipelines, and gas distribution.
• You’re commercially fluent, able to structure bankable projects, negotiate with off-takers, and create viable financial models.
• You’re regulator-savvy, with experience navigating national gas licensing requirements and permits.
• You’re a confident leader, capable of building and leading multidisciplinary teams toward tight, high-impact project timelines.

Your responsibilities…Development & Implementation

• You will lead feasibility studies, business case development, and the technical structuring of gas infrastructure projects.
• You will drive engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) phases—ensuring all elements align with global best practices.
• You will cultivate relationships with EPC contractors, vendors, and technology providers.

Project Execution & Delivery

• You will oversee full-cycle execution of gas infrastructure—from planning and risk management to commissioning.
• You will ensure strict compliance with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
• You will continuously monitor project performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks.

Virtual Pipeline Operations

• You will direct the deployment and optimization of VPL infrastructure, including gas compression, transport, and storage.
• You will implement real-time tracking and digital optimization tools to ensure efficient pipeline operation.

Commercialization & Business Strategy

• You will develop viable commercial strategies for gas asset monetization and market growth.
• You will negotiate gas supply agreements with off-takers in industrial, power, and commercial sectors.
• You will structure gas pricing, tariff models, and collaborate with finance teams to secure investment partnerships.

Regulatory Compliance & Stakeholder Management

• You will ensure all projects operate within legal, regulatory, and licensing frameworks.
• You will lead procurement of operational permits and manage relationships with government regulators.
• You will engage host communities, building trust and securing a social license to operate.

Team Leadership & Performance Management

• You will lead a high-performing, cross-functional project team and ensure accountability at every level.
• You will embed a KPI dashboard for performance tracking and project visibility.
• You will implement technical upskilling programs for your project team.

To be considered, you should have

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; a Master’s in Project Management, Business, or Engineering Management is a plus.
• At least 10 years’ experience delivering gas infrastructure projects or leading major energy developments.
• Deep technical expertise in LNG/CNG systems, virtual pipelines, and gas distribution.
• A successful track record managing EPC contracts, project financing, and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong commercial instincts, with experience in pricing strategies and gas supply negotiations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
