Responsibilities
Overall Farm Management:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the poultry farm, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
• Manage and coordinate all activities related to poultry production, including breeding, feed formularionand broiler management.

Staff Supervision and Training:

• Lead and manage a team of farm staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Ensure that all team members adhere to safety and operational protocols.

Health and Welfare:

• Monitor the health and well-being of the poultry flock, implementing disease prevention and control measures.
• Maintain high standards of biosecurity to ensure a healthy and disease-free environment.

Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate records of poultry inventory, production data, and farm expenses.
• Generate reports for management, detailing key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

Facility Maintenance:

• Oversee the maintenance of farm infrastructure, including poultry houses, equipment, and feeding systems.
• Implement improvements and upgrades as necessary to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in poultry management will be an advantage.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Poultry Farm Manager or in a similar role within the poultry industry.
• Strong knowledge of poultry management, biosecurity, and disease control.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions for farm optimization.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in poultry farming.
