Main Job Purpose:

Responsible for overseeing production operations, managing manpower, utilizing efficiently machines and achieving set targets.

Role and Responsibilities

• Smooth running of production floor
• Oversee routine production
• Trouble shoot /solve issues arising on production floor
• Ensure clean and safe working environment and workspace
• Complete necessary documentation daily
• Communicating and leading the team to achieve expected performance
• Compiling production reports and providing management with updates
• Managing communication with maintenance on replacement and repairs of faulty equipment
• Ensure production conforms with quality parameters
• Managing production process downstream to upstream
• Enforcing company policies and guidelines
• Assign responsibility to production staff as necessary
• Responsible for inventory management from production
• Other Production functions assigned by the Management.

Requirements for the role

• Up to five (5) years’ experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong communication skills actively listening to stakeholders and clearing verbalizing action plans and ideas
• Excellent organizational and technical industrial skills to plan production schedule and ensure availability of necessary materials and equipment for production
• Strong analytical skill to determine problem within production process and take necessary action
• Good grasp of time management to minimize downtime and maximize team efficiency
• Ability to cope with pressure and make sound decisions quickly
• OND/ HND/ BSC Holder only

Salary Range (Monthly net)

N150,000 – N200,000
