- Accurately dispense prescription medications and counsel patients on their use.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions.
- Guide the use of OTC medications, health supplements, and treatment options.
- Monitor patient health and progress to ensure medications are working effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of all pharmaceutical transactions, inventory, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to manage drug therapies.
- Stay updated on new drugs, therapies, and medical protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and regulatory standards in pharmacy practice.
- Manage and oversee pharmacy inventory, stock levels, and expiration dates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
- Valid license to practice as a Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria.
- Proven experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and dosage administration.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
