Job Description
- The packing technicians will service, maintain and attend to breakdowns of production / Packing equipment as well as carrying out training for operators and technicians on all Packing machine on SMD floor.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all Packing machine on the floor runs optimally consistently all the time.
- Assist in resolving major breakdowns on packing machine that is in production.
- Assist in packing machine installation/projects Compelling Business Need.
- Ensure that the product quality is within set target and that Leaf and WM waste is under control.
- Attend to all NPI’s related to packer across the shop floor and lead the technical aspect of initiatives.
- Lead all packer training and assessment for both operators and technician and also involved in the technical coaching & development of packer technicians.
Requirements
- A minimum of HND or B.Sc Degree in engineering or relevant is required.
- At least 5 years of “hands on” experience in a production environment.
- The technician should good knowledge of AM 14, S90, X2, X3, and XW machine.
- Good and strong communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of technical training, fault finding, and maintenance techniques.
- A high degree of interpersonal skill will be required to establish credentials and to pass on knowledge and experience to newer team members.
