• A Mixologist is responsible for creating and serving unique and memorable cocktails, mock tails, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and ensuring exceptional guest experiences in line with Hilton standard.

What will I be doing?

As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for performing the following functions to the highest standards:

• Create unique and exceptional cocktails, mock tail and other drink offerings to the delight of our guest.
• Collaborate with the Food and Drink team to curate an appealing and diverse cocktail menu.
• Develop innovative drink recipes that highlight understanding of flavors and are visually appealing.
• Ensure that each drink is made to the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Pay attention to details and provide personalized service to meet individual guest drink preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar station stocked with necessary ingredients, glassware, and tools.
• Attend to guests in a friendly and professional manner, offering recommendations and answering questions about the drink menu.
• Create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews.
• Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of food and drink service.
• Make professional suggestion to guest on cocktail pairings or incorporation of culinary elements into drinks to enhance the overall dining experience.
• Conduct training sessions to improve the skills and knowledge of bartenders and servers in relation to mixology.
• Monitor and manage the inventory of spirits, mixers, garnishes, and other bar supplies. Make requisition and liaise with the store administrators to ensure an uninterrupted supply of ingredients.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and ensure compliance with Hilton standard and local regulations.
• Stay updated with current industry trends, seasonal ingredients, and emerging Flavors to keep the menu fresh and exciting.

A Mixologist serving Hilton Brand Hotels is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:

• Minimum of HND certification
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Mixologist or Bartender with a focus on mixology.
• In-depth knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and mixology techniques.
• Creativity and ability to develop innovative and visually appealing drink recipes.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure gracefully.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations related to the bar industry.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, night, weekends, and holidays.
• Certification in mixology or bartending will be an added advantage.
