Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Officer at Dukes Neurosurgery and Specialist Hospital located in Lagos, Nigeria.
• The Medical Officer will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, training and supervising other clinical staff, assisting in surgeries, working with other physicians and specialists, and keeping up-to-date with medical research and advancements.

Qualifications

• Medicine: the candidate must possess relevant medical degrees, licenses and must be a member of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria
• Patient Care: the candidate is required to have experience in providing excellent patient care and possess strong communication, empathetic, and problem-solving skills.
• Training: the candidate should have experience in training and supervising staff, especially junior medical officers.
• Surgery: the candidate should have experience in assisting in surgeries and is ready to undertake more challenging surgical interventions.
• Working with Physicians: the candidate should have experience working collaboratively with other physicians and specialists, and be ready to learn from Consultant led team.
• Additional skills: knowledge of medical research and advancements, able to work well under pressure, detail-oriented, good time management skills.
