Job Title: Marine Superintendent (MS)
Location: Lagos
Job Description
Marine Superintendent / Master Marine class one (1) foreign going or Master’s ticket.
- Ensuing company owned and managed vessels are operated in a safe, efficient and economical manner and in full compliance with Class and Statutory Regulations.
- Liaising with port Captain and vessel Master with reference to certification’s Safety Equipment and loose Gear.
- Contribute to the technical evaluation and selection of contractors and is carried out in accordance with Company requirements and that safety assessment is a part of the selection process.
- Schedule, plan, prepare, manage and supervise various ports and operations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of Master degree in marine-related disciplines.
- Must have a strong background as a Technical Superintendent with a minimum of 5-10 years experience.
- Must be familiar with vessel clearance procedures.
- 5 years practical senior level experience in maritime.
- Onshore experience in project team.
