Manufacturing Manager
About the role
- Ensuring that the Company’s Safety policy and procedures are adhered to and are communicated to the workforce effectively.
- Ensure safety levels are optimal and good housekeeping practices are applied in factory.
- Maintaining lagging and leading indicators, latest accidents, Safe start management, implement standards, and address HIRA high priority items.
- Organizing and controlling the production facility to produce at correct quality and cost at the correct time.
- Developing and motivating production staff to achieve agreed objectives regarding efficiency, quality, industrial standards, health, and safety.
- Ensuring plant performance OEE target are adhered too.
- Reviewing and analysing production, quality data to determine causes of non-conformity by using internal CI tools (R-EWO, QP-EWO, HERCA and A3)
- Ensuring that the correct Quality standards are complied with.
- Taking appropriate action to ensure regularity of product quality and compliance with specifications and standards, at the best cost.
About you
- Engineering Degree, preferably a masters degree
- Preferably 10 years with experience in manufacturing organization or in maintenance management
- Strong Customer focus
- Strong technical background
- Outstanding Cross-Functional Understanding
- Computer literate (Microsoft package, SAP, HR systems )
- Be a leader able to bring along his team towards the company goals.
- Performance driven.
- Be a good communicator for bridging common communication gaps within his factory structure.
