Maintenance Manager (Pipeline Construction)
Position Overview
- The Maintenance Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our pipeline construction infrastructure, including equipment, vehicles, and facilities.
- This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing preventive maintenance plans, ensuring compliance with safety standards, coordinating repairs, managing spare parts inventory, and supervising maintenance personnel.
- We are seeking a candidate with technical expertise in pipeline construction equipment maintenance, strong leadership ability, and proficiency in asset management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the maintenance and repair activities of pipeline construction infrastructure, including equipment, vehicles, and facilities.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to ensure the reliability and efficiency of equipment and facilities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all maintenance activities.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently to minimize downtime and optimize operational efficiency.
- Manage spare parts inventory effectively to ensure timely availability for maintenance requirements.
- Supervise maintenance personnel, providing guidance, training, and support as needed to enhance their performance and skillsets.
- Collaborate with other departments to prioritize maintenance tasks and allocate resources accordingly.
- Utilize asset management systems to track equipment usage, maintenance history, and lifecycle costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 5 – 10 years relevant work experience.
- Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in the pipeline construction or oil & gas industry.
- Technical expertise in pipeline construction equipment maintenance and repair procedures.
- Strong leadership abilities with the capability to effectively manage a team of maintenance personnel.
- Proficiency in asset management systems and maintenance software applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and standards applicable to maintenance operations.
