Logistics Associates
- As a Logistics Associate, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our logistics operations for timely and accurate order deliveries, while collaborating with third-party logistics partners to address delivery challenges, and implement improvements.
Job Responsibilities
As a Logistics Associate, you will be expected to perform the following duties
Logistics Management
- Coordinate and optimize logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate order deliveries.
- Liaise with third-party logistics partners to maintain efficient delivery networks.
- Monitor delivery performance, address challenges, and implement improvements.
Rider Recruitment
- Develop and execute strategies for recruiting delivery riders to meet operational demands.
- Collaborate with HR to conduct interviews, assess candidates, and facilitate the onboarding process.
- Maintain a pool of qualified riders and ensure an adequate supply to meet business needs.
Training and Development
- Design and conduct training programs for new and existing riders to enhance their skills and efficiency.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to riders to ensure a high level of service quality.
Performance Monitoring
- Implement performance metrics to monitor the effectiveness of logistics operations.
- Conduct regular assessments of rider performance and address any issues promptly.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of rider information, including contact details and performance data.
- Generate reports on logistics and rider recruitment activities for management review.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in an Operations, Logistics or Supply Chain related role.
- You must have completed studies at a University, Polytechnic or similar institution
- You should be familiar with CRM, and comfortably use spreadsheets to collect, analyze & interpret data.
- Effectively manage projects using project management techniques and tools
- Be conversant with Logistics operations in such industries as Food and Beverage, FMCG, e-Commerce, Transportation, and others
- Communicate effectively with different levels of stakeholders, and able to negotiate, too
- Demonstrate results in improving business performance through leadership
- Have a highly developed sense of urgency.
