Live Sound Engineer
Role Description
- This is a full-time onsite role as a Live Sound Engineer and Music producer at the Tenstrings Music Institute located in Agege.
- The Live Sound Engineer and Music Producer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with live audio setup, recording and production of studio projects, and maintenance of audio systems.
- He or she will be responsible for recording multi-track inputs during live recording sessions and live music shows.
- He or she will be responsible for mixing and mastering the multi-track sessions, and would be required to have a strong grasp of common D.A.Ws like Logic and protools, to execute the projects.
Qualifications
- Live Sound and Audio Engineering skills
- Proficiency in Music creation and production
- Knowledge in Microphones and Audio Visual (AV) Systems is required
- Experience with recording software and digital audio workstations
- Ability to mix and master audio recording is required
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Music Technology, Sound Engineering, or related field
- Industry certification(s) is a plus
- Experience working in a music institute or similar environment is an added advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work collaboratively and independent
