Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional individual to join our eye clinic as a Front Desk/Customer Service Representative.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a similar role and will be responsible for ensuring a positive patient experience from the moment they arrive at our clinic.
  • This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients warmly and check them in upon arrival.
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials.
  • Provide information to patients regarding clinic services, procedures, and policies.
  • Address patient inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email in a timely and professional manner.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the clinics appointment calendar.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Prepare and manage correspondence, reports, and documents.
  • Perform data entry and manage patient databases.
  • Manage office supplies and place orders as necessary.
  • Coordinate with medical staff and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow and clinic operations.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of medical supplies.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.

Position Overview:

  • The Intensivist is responsible for the comprehensive care of patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
  • This role requires specialized knowledge and skills in the diagnosis and treatment of critically ill patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill patients.
  • Perform procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and mechanical ventilation management.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to formulate treatment plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals including nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other physicians.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to team decisions.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to junior medical staff and residents.

Education and Research:

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Critical Care Medicine.
  • Valid and active medical license.
  • Proven experience in an ICU setting.
