Job Description
Tax Compliance:
- Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, including corporate income tax, VAT, and other relevant filings.
- Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations and provide recommendations for compliance.
Accounts Payable:
- Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to address payment inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
Financial Analysis:
- Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for tax savings and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial information for tax planning and reporting.
Audits and Reviews:
- Manage tax-related audits, responding to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Conduct internal reviews to identify and address potential tax and payable-related issues and risks.
Tax Planning:
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies in coordination with payable processes to optimize the company’s financial position.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align tax planning and payable activities with overall business objectives.
Reporting:
- Generate accurate and timely tax and payable reports for management and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with international reporting standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax accounting and payable functions, preferably in a telecommunications or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of local and international tax regulations.
- Experience with payable processes and financial systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
