Job Summary
- Our client is in need of a highly skilled and experienced Lawyer with a minimum of 5 years of expertise in oil and gas contracts, drafting/review, and MOU.
- You will be responsible for providing legal guidance on contract matters, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and contributing to the successful execution of oil and gas projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure that contract align with the company’s objectives, comply with legal requirements, and mitigate potential risks.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish clear terms, objectives, and expectations in MOUs.
- Stay up to date on relevant laws and regulations governing oil and gas operations and contracts.
- Identify legal risks associated with contract terms and propose strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external legal counsel, and business partners to facilitate effective communication and negotiation throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Oversee the administration of executed contracts, including monitoring contract performance, ensuring compliance with terms, and addressing any deviations or disputes.
- Conduct legal due diligence for potential projects, acquisitions, or partnerships.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and active membership in the Bar.
- Minimum of 5 years of legal experience, with a focus on oil and gas contracts, drafting/review, and MOU.
- In-depth understanding of the regulatory framework and legal issues specific to the oil and gas industry.
- Strong negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities
- Ensure that documents are appropriately categorized, labelled, and stored for easy retrieval.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure that the latest versions of documents are readily available to authorized personnel.
- Offer guidance on proper document handling, storage, and retrieval to ensure consistency across the organization.
- Ensure that all document control activities comply with the industry regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with different departments to understand their document control needs.
- Manage the company’s Electronic Document Management System, including troubleshooting issues, providing user support, and optimizing system efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Documents Control Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of document control principles, including version control and records management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organization.
- Familiarity with Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
