Job Summary
- The Account Officer is to perform a variety of bookkeeping, accounting and financial tasks.
- Responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, Keying in data into software, preparing and analyzing reports as well as reconciling of inventory.
Job Details
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
- Daily update and accurate collation of all financial transactions.
- Inputting accurate data into the database.
- Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
- Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements.
- Timely reconciliation of all accounts.
- In charge of sales and purchasing records keeping.
- Debt recovery and reconciliation.
- Interaction with Customers on accounting matters.
- Provide assistance and support to company personnel.
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
- Inform management and compile reports/summaries on assigned business unit.
- Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws.
- Daily reconciliation of the stock position.
- Constant update of job knowledge.
- Maintaining the confidential of all accounting data/information.
- And any other duties assigned.
Skills / Qualifications
- Minimum of B.Sc / HND Accounting or related field.
- 2 – 3 years experience as an Accountant.
- Post-graduate/ professional qualification will be an added advantage.
- ACCA or ICAN Certification will be a plus.
- Familiarity with accounting software is an added advantage.
- An ability to make quick but sound decisions.
- Good ability to maintain accuracy when dealing with numbers.

Description
- Storekeepers keep stock of inventory and manage all operations in the store. From ordering, receiving to managing inventory, these professionals ensure safe custody of all store-related inventory. Apart from this, a storekeeper performs various day-to-day activities:
- Replenish supply inventories following established guidelines of the company
- Maintain a neat, clean and safe working environment as per government regulation
- Manage the store layout
- Supervise other staff members and keep a record of sales
- Receive, unload and shelf all supplies
- Perform stock-related duties like returning, packing, labeling and pricing goods
- Inspect delivers for discrepancies or damage
- Report damaged inventories for record-keeping and reimbursement
- Rotate stock and dispose of surplus and expired quantities
- Coordinate and handle freight and movement of equipment
- Keep an organised allocation of inventory placed in warehouse and store
- Cross-verify the monthly report at the end of each month
- Ensure proper completion of documentation to place an order and make a purchase
- Generate a material received report (MRR) timely
- Ensure storage of goods follow the first in first out (FIFO) method

Requirements
