Job Description
IT Network Administration
- Deploy LAN/WAN internet and any related infrastructure related services, device equipment’s and projects.
- Management of all IT equipment’s in data centres and technical rooms
- Backups for all equipment’s and other Network services
- Ensuring all Service Requests are resolved and completed timely from Service Desk as per Operational Guidelines
- Management of the Network Voice Infrastructure IHS Wide
- Effective Monitoring up to 99.99% uptime Availability.
- Ensure the health and security of the network
- Ensure compliance of IP and VLAN distribution
- Security system such as Firewalling, VPN configurations and management
- Ensure Compliance with IT Security Policies and Baselines
- Network standardized designs for the IHS Wide Network
- Infrastructure strategy and transformation initiatives
IT Security Support
- Definition and implementation of proper and adequate levels of IT security across the organization, as per Operating Guidelines
- Enforcement and maintenance of the Information Security Policy according to Networks Security Operational Guidelines
- Implement security related projects to assure a zero-security risk environment
- Elaboration of fall back and emergency procedures, as per Operating Guidelines
- Adhered Governance, Risks and compliance procedures
Network and Security Monitoring
- Network equipment performance analysis to pro-actively prevent service interruptions
- Production of internal Network and Security performance dashboards and reports
- Security research and risk analysis to pro-actively ‘kill threats’
- Issuing security alerts when required and implementing necessary shutdowns, rollbacks and workarounds
- Initiate Problem and Change management, and Post-implementation reports
- Network Security implementation

Requirement
- 10 Years minimum experience in Network Operations/Infrastructure Administration
- 3 – 4 years minimum leadership experience
- Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma or higher in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering / Information Technology
- ITIL certification
- CISCO-certified Network, Collaboration, Security, Data Center or other equivalent networking qualification preferably
- Network security qualification is recommended.
- Microsoft Cloud certification is recommended.
- LAN and WAN administration for Products not limited to Cisco, Sophos, Fortinet; Aruba, HPE, F5, Cloud Networks – Azure, AWS etcetera.
- At least 3 – 4 years leadership experience

Method of Application
Job Description
- Ensure all required security equipment (e.g. CCTV systems, access control, ID card printers, turnstiles, intrusion detection, guard tour system, etc) is in good working condition.
- Support and monitor all technical equipment to meet the function’s current and future requirements.
- Maintain a good working knowledge of current security infrastructure and advise/ propose on new ones.
- Maintain good working relationships with service providers and vendors to ensure that services are delivered in line with contractual obligations/ standards.
- Maintain a comprehensive inventory of security assets.
- Provide support in scheduling security upgrades and backups of security hardware and software systems.
- Supervise scheduled preventive maintenance of systems.
- Liaise with vendors on periodical maintenance of security equipment across headquarters and regional offices.
- Serve as interface between the Security team and other key internal stakeholders, e.g. IT and Facility Management.
- Perform periodic checks on security equipment across regional officers.
- Conduct reviews and investigations using existing technical devices.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Senior Specialist, Technical & Response.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- +7 years’ relevant experience with demonstrable knowledge and application of security devices and performance.
