Description
- We are currently seeking an experienced and meticulous Inventory Manager to oversee our inventory operations at 3 MAT Supermarket.
- The Inventory Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
- This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to optimize inventory processes efficiently.
Responsibilities
Inventory Planning and Control:
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize carrying costs.
- Forecast inventory needs based on sales trends, seasonal demand, and upcoming promotions.
- Analyze inventory data and conduct regular assessments to identify slow-moving or obsolete items.
- Establish and maintain optimal stock levels while ensuring product availability.
Inventory Tracking and Record-Keeping:
- Oversee the accurate recording of inventory movements, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments.
- Utilize inventory management software or systems to track inventory levels and transactions in real-time.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock counts with system records.
Supplier Coordination and Procurement:
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to optimize inventory costs.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
Team Management and Training:
- Lead and supervise inventory control staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Train employees on inventory management procedures and best practices.
- Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment within the inventory management team.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate inventory reports detailing stock levels, turnover rates, and inventory aging.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, or areas for improvement.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance inventory efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven work experience in inventory management or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in inventory management software or systems.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Knowledge of lean inventory principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with demand planning and forecasting techniques.
- Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
- Certification in inventory management or supply chain management (e.g., CPIM – Certified in Production and Inventory Management).

- The Warehouse Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment.

Responsibilities
Inventory Management:
- Receive, inspect, and appropriately store incoming inventory.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and locations.
- Conduct regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Assist in inventory reconciliation and cycle counting.
Order Fulfillment:
- Prepare orders by pulling items from shelves or storage areas.
- Pack and label items for shipping or delivery according to company standards.

Warehouse Organization:
