Job Purpose
- The incumbent is to efficiently and effectively prepare and condition soyabeans for the extraction that follows.
- The preparatory operator plays a critical role in ensuring that the soyabeans entering our processing facility are of the highest quality, free from impurities, and optimally processed for subsequent stages.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Receive incoming soyabean into the plant for processing.
- Ensure adequate feeding into the seed elevator to align with target
- Operate the preparatory equipment in line with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Monitor and control the flow of soyabeans through the preparatory equipment.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure incoming soyabeans meet required standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, collaborating with maintenance teams when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of soyabean preparation activities, include quantities processed and any deviations from standard procedures.
- Provide detailed shift reports to ensure smooth transitions between operators.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, ensuring working environment.
- Must be able to synergize with other departments to achieve set goals.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
- Accountability for assigned works with attention to detail is a must have.
Educational Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of OND in Engineering (Electrical, Production, or industrial Engineering, or related field).
- Proven experience of 3-5 years as a preparatory operator or similar role in a soyabean processing plant.
- Age Requirement: 23-35 Years
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good teaming skills.
- Baseline problem analysis and solving skills.
- Ability to think out of the box.
- Robust experience in troubleshooting, motor checks & repairs
- Should be knowledgeable on general maintenance mechanics.
- Should have basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting.
- Strong attention to details to detail and a commitment to quality.

Job Purpose
- The Boiler Operator is to generate high quality steam from both LPFO boiler and Firewood boiler as per Standard Operating Procedure.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Operate, control and adjust manual and automatic controls to either increase or decrease feed water to boiler for maintenance of proper and safe water level in the boiler drum.
- Obtain and maintain maximum boiler combustion efficiency.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure incoming water for boiler operator meet required standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, collaborating with maintenance teams when necessary.
- Maintain accurate record plant operational metrics as per checklist
- Provide detailed shift reports to ensure smooth transitions between operators.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, ensuring working environment.
- Must be able to synergize with other departments to achieve set goals.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
- Accountability for assigned works with attention to detail is a must.
