Job Description:
- Review all engineering deliverables and other relevant documentation that are issued by the EPC Contractor to ensure suitability for construction.
- Act as the Project Management Team’s focal person to monitor and supervise all construction activities undertaken by the EPC Contractor and any subcontractor(s).
- Deploy knowledge of engineering best practices, design codes, standards, specifications, legislations, and regulations to ensure that the EPC Contractor constructs and installs the pipeline and associated items in line with global practices to yield the optimal service life of the pipeline and associated installations.
- Evaluate Cost, Time, and Resources estimates submitted by the EPC Contractor to ascertain suitability for delivering the entire construction scope within the agreed project lifecycle.
- Ensure proper collection and transmittal of accurate records of construction activities; track actuals against plans, and proactively liaise with EPC Contractor personnel to avoid negative variance on construction scope.
- Enforce all personnel on site to comply with safe systems of work and applicable safety regulations and escalate any observed non-compliance to the Project Management Team.
- Liaise with the Project Management Team, other Support Personnel, EPC Contractor Personnel, Vendor Personnel, and any other personnel associated with the project to ensure actualization of the project within the specified timeline.
- All other ancillary tasks as may be directed by the Project Management Team consequential to the successful delivery of the project.
Qualifications:
- COREN Registered Engineer or NSE or an affiliated body will be acceptable
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or other engineering discipline with 10+ years of work experience or advanced degree with 6+ years of experience, and registration with COREN
- At least five years of experience with design and construction of pipelines and/or process facilities in the oil and gas industry with leadership roles on at least two projects
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, legislations, and regulations applicable to the construction industry, especially pipeline construction
- Exceptional leadership, project management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills”
- Significant experience working with EPC Contractors and engaging with diverse project stakeholders.
- A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in use of IT tools, especially Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, emails, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- High awareness of safe working practices associated with design, construction, installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of pipelines and associated facilities.”

Job Description:
- Provide subject matter technical support to ensure that the pipeline and associated installations are engineered, procured, constructed, and installed in line with global best practices.
- Evaluate all QA/QC documents including vendor certificates, calibration certificates, test results, inspection reports, non- conformance reports and other associated documents.
- Conduct checks for all quality-related procedures and activities at the project sites, EPC Contractor fabrication yard (covering concrete weight coating, structural and piping fabrication), and other assigned locations.
- Ensure that all applicable project activities are executed in line with the approved method statement and Inspection and Test Plan.
- Collaborate with other relevant personnel to conduct inspections and quality reviews and address any issues including resolution of any non-conformance.
- Liaise with the Project Management Team, other Support Personnel, EPC Contractor Personnel, Vendor Personnel, and any other personnel associated with the project to ensure actualization of the project within the specified timeline.
- All other ancillary tasks as may be directed by the Project Management Team consequential to the successful delivery of the project.”
- Develop / Review / Implement Quality Control Documents; Quality Manuals, Quality Plans, Procedures, Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans for self-performed work, sub-contractors, suppliers..
- Interpret Project specifications, Applicable International codes and standards to ensure these requirements are included in those documents and are implemented during project execution. Approve/Review WPS, WPQR, and QC Dossiers”
Qualifications:
- Certified quality assurance auditor/assessor (or equivalent)
- COREN Registered Engineer or membership of an engineering body e.g NSE
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 10+ years of work experience or advanced degree with 6+ years of experience.
- At least five years of experience with quality assurance (QA) / quality control (QC) management of pipelines and/or process facilities in the oil and gas industry with leadership roles on at
- least two projects. Experience in engineering design reviews, implementing QA/QC Management Systems, inspections, audits, and supervision of site activities.
- Significant experience working with EPC Contractors and engaging with diverse project stakeholders.
- A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in use of IT tools, especially Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, emails, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- High awareness of safe working practices associated with design, construction, installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of pipelines and associated facilities.”
