Responsibilities:
Warehouse and Logistics Management:
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Develop and implement efficient logistics processes to optimize inventory flow and distribution.
- Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
- Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Last Mile Delivery (B2B):
- Manage last mile delivery operations for B2B customers, ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries.
- Coordinate delivery schedules and routes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Work closely with delivery drivers to ensure compliance with delivery protocols and customer service standards.
- Resolve delivery-related issues and address customer inquiries or concerns in a timely manner.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate warehouse and delivery teams to achieve performance targets and deliver exceptional service.
- Provide coaching and training to enhance team capabilities and productivity.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Inventory Management:
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize stockouts, overstocking, and losses.
- Utilize inventory management systems to track stock movements, monitor inventory levels, and forecast demand.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to manage incoming shipments and maintain adequate inventory levels.
Quality Control:
- Implement quality control measures to maintain the accuracy and integrity of inventory and deliveries.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Address any discrepancies or issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate reports on warehouse and delivery performance, including inventory levels, order fulfillment, and delivery metrics.
- Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization.
- Provide regular updates and insights to senior management to support decision-making and strategic planning efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in the FMCG/eCommerce or distribution industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
