Job Description:

Ayara Ibile is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team in providing exceptional cleaning services in Lagos, Nigeria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various settings, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our clients and employees.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform cleaning duties according to established standards and procedures, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
2. Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchen areas, and common areas as required, ensuring they are maintained in a tidy and hygienic condition.
3. Empty trash containers and dispose of waste in a proper manner, adhering to recycling and waste management guidelines.
4. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
5. Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly to prevent accidents and injuries.
6. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
7. Uphold professional conduct and maintain a positive attitude while interacting with clients and colleagues.
8. Follow instructions and work collaboratively with team members to achieve common goals.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Cleaner or similar role, preferably in a commercial or residential cleaning environment.
2. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
3. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
7. Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
8. Integrity and reliability in maintaining confidentiality and respecting clients’ privacy.
