IT and Sage Officer
Job Description
- Monitor that posting are done correctly on sage daily and on real time: Sales, Purchases, Inventory, Growers account and vendors account.
- Match sage posting with the report sent from various sales node and farm clusters and make submission.
- Training new account officers and continous guidance to enable them adapt to the sage system enviroment.
- Respond to queries and system failure issues from teammates.
- Confirm availability of stock for all locations.
- Monitor stock movement and reconcile system balance with physical count report.
- Resolve error due to wrong variety posting or unavailability of stock as soon as it occurs.
- Match sage postings with the report sent from various sales node and farm clusters. And make submission.
- Monitor that all sales processes are completed and invoice completed.
- Monitor that payment is made and receipt and receipt generated and issued.
- Improve inflow tracking system for sales node collections and activities.
- Liase with seedco international IT Dept to solve bugs and network glitches
- Champion the seedco group’s IT upgrade into SAGE Intacct from SAGE 300.
- Ensure other IT demands from HQ are implemented locally.
- Mange GL posting and jornalising.
- Produce weekly SAGE report for review of accuracy.
- Lead the monthly system closure meeting with sage commitee.
- Generate management system report that reflects the reality of business status.
- Ensure all staff computer systems are operating properly for efficiency.
- Carry out periodic system maintanace.
- Manage general IT responsibilities of seedco Nigeria across locations internet etc
- Manage procurement of devices and specification demands for seedco Nigeria.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
- Individual contribution to driving team objectives.
