IT and Infrastructure Support Officer
Responsibilities
IT Support:
- Provide first and second-line support for all IT-related issues within the company.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, including servers, PCs, printers, and network devices.
- Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, and storage systems.
- Monitor network performance and security, implementing upgrades and fixes as necessary.
- Manage backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.
ERP System Management:
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the company’s ERP system.
- Work with various departments to ensure the ERP system meets business requirements and integrates seamlessly with other systems.
- Troubleshoot ERP-related issues and provide training and support to end-users.
System Administration:
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Maintain system documentation, including configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and security audits.
Project Management:
- Assist in planning and executing IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver IT solutions that support business objectives.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect company data.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including data protection and privacy laws.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support and infrastructure management.
- Proven experience with ERP systems, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of network and server infrastructure, including Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the
