Job description: Spotlight Supermarket, a fast growing retail store, is recruiting to fill the position below:Job Position: Inventory Clerk
Job Location: Mowe, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Schedule: 8am – 10pm, Mondays- Sundays (2 days on, 1 day off)Responsibilities
Core Inventory Management:

• Tracking Inventory: Keeping track of incoming and outgoing products, materials, or supplies.
• Maintaining Records: Updating and maintaining accurate inventory records in a database or system.
• Conducting Physical Counts: Performing regular inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Processing Shipments: Receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming shipments of inventory.
• Reconciling Discrepancies: Identifying and reporting any discrepancies between physical counts and records.
• Monitoring Stock Levels: Regularly checking stock levels and identifying items that need to be restocked.
• Handling Returns: Processing and documenting returns as required.
• Organizing Storage: Ensuring that inventory storage areas are clean, organized, and secure.

Additional Duties:

• Receiving and Unloading: Receiving and unloading deliveries from suppliers.
• Stocking Shelves: Stocking shelves and ensuring items are in their designated locations.
• Preparing Reports: Preparing reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies.
• Safety: Maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to safety procedures.
• Data Entry: Performing data entry for inventory transactions
• Assisting Customers: Answering customer inquiries and assisting with locating items.
• Order Management: Processing purchase orders and coordinating with suppliers.
• Disposing of Obsolete Inventory: Identifying and disposing of obsolete or slow-moving inventory.
• Customer Service and Engagement: Greet and welcome customers to the store; Ask customers about their shopping needs, provide recommendations, and offer samplings; Stay updated on store products, promotions, and pricing to assist customers with questions.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess HND qualifications with 2 – 8 years of proven experience.

Benefits

• Salary: N60,000 – N80,000 Monthly.
• Accommodation is available.
