Job Summary
- As an In-House Decorator, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our resort’s visual appeal and ambiance.
- You will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing creative design solutions that align with our brand and captivate our guests.
- Your artistic flair and attention to detail will contribute to the resort’s reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Design Concept Development:
- Collaborate with the resort management team to develop and refine design concepts that reflect the resort’s brand and image.
- Create mood boards, color schemes, and design proposals for various areas within the resort.
Interior and Exterior Decor:
- Transform indoor and outdoor spaces.
- Oversee the procurement and installation of decor items, ensuring they align with the design vision.
Room and Suite Styling:
- Design and style guest rooms, suites, and common areas to create welcoming and visually appealing spaces for events such as honeymoons, proposals, etc
Event and Dining Space Design:
- Collaborate with event planners and resort manager to design captivating spaces for weddings, honeymoons, proposals, and dining experiences.
- Ensure that event decor enhances the overall guest experience.
Guest Engagement:
- Interact with guests to gather feedback and insights regarding their decor preferences and expectations.
- Implement decor enhancements based on guest feedback when feasible.
Maintenance and Preservation:
- Oversee the maintenance and preservation of decor items and furnishings to ensure longevity and appearance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Decorative Arts, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in making scented candles is a great advantage.
- Proven experience as an interior decorator or designer with a strong portfolio of previous projects.
- Excellent artistic and creative abilities with an eye for detail.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of current design trends and the ability to adapt to changing styles.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
