Information Technology Officer
Duties
IT Management:
- Manage information technology and computer systems for the bank.
Hardware and Software Configuration:
- Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
Operations Planning and Evaluation:
- Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
Systems Design and Coordination:
- Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures.
Data Security and Network Access:
- Ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems.
Problem Identification and Solutions:
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in a timely manner.
User Accounts Management:
- Set up new users’ accounts and profiles and address password-related issues.
Technology Audits:
- Conduct regular technology audits to assess and improve IT infrastructure efficiency.
Software Development Oversight:
- Provide oversight for software development projects, ensuring alignment with business needs.
IT Training and Support:
- Conduct training sessions for staff on IT systems and provide ongoing support.
Emerging Technology Assessment:
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and assess their potential applications for the bank.
Collaboration with External Vendors:
- Collaborate with external vendors for IT-related services and solutions.
Additional Responsibilities:
Cybersecurity Oversight:
- Monitor and enhance cybersecurity measures to protect the bank’s digital assets.
IT Budget Management:
- Contribute to the planning and management of the IT budget.
Disaster Recovery Planning:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive disaster recovery plan for IT systems.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years working experience in the financial sector.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
