You will work closely with clients in Nigeria, conducting in-depth business analysis, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring successful project execution. Your role will require strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. You will thrive in a dynamic environment, leading teams and driving the implementation of banking solutions to meet customer needs effectively. Travel within Nigeria may be required once a quarter for up to two weeks.Accountabilities:
- Lead project teams autonomously by structuring tasks, assigning roles, and optimizing resources to ensure smooth implementation.
- Engage with key stakeholders to gather business requirements, document processes, and align expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage customer relationships, keeping clients informed about project progress while efficiently handling timelines and negotiations.
- Conduct comprehensive business analysis to understand client requirements, propose solutions, and support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee the implementation process, ensuring successful integration of core banking solutions and addressing technical challenges proactively.
- Champion best practices and mentor team members to drive excellence in project execution.
- Develop rollout strategies and involve key stakeholders at the right time to maximize project success.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years’ experience in software implementation, professional services consulting, or the financial sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial institutions’ operations, with expertise in banking, fintech, or microfinance.
- Proven ability to translate customer business requirements into effective solutions.
- Hands-on experience in project management, process optimization, and stakeholder engagement.
- Technical proficiency in API integrations and financial systems is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
