Human Resources Manager
Position Summary
- The Human Resources Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes.

- As a mid-level manager, the HR Manager will not only manage day-to-day HR operations but also contribute to long-term HR strategy and company growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition and Recruitment: Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract, evaluate, and hire qualified candidates. Oversee the recruitment process, from job posting to interviewing and onboarding.
- Compensation and Benefits Management: Design and review compensation packages in line with market trends and company policies. Manage and administer employee benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with legal requirements.
- Payroll Administration: Oversee the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in coordination with the finance department.
- Employee Relations and Engagement: Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and queries. Develop strategies to improve employee engagement and retention. Address and resolve workplace conflicts and disciplinary issues in a fair and legal manner.
- Performance Management: Implement performance review systems and strategies to ensure employee performance aligns with company goals and objectives. Provide support and training to managers on performance evaluation techniques.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and organize development programs to enhance employees’ skills and knowledge.
- Compliance and Policy Development: Ensure all HR practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Develop and update HR policies and procedures to reflect changes in labor law and best practices.
- HR Reporting and Administration: Maintain accurate and confidential HR records. Prepare reports on HR metrics to guide decision-making processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4 to 6 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and systems.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.

- The position is located at our headquarters in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria. Candidates must be resident in Abuja.
