Overview:

• Milsat Technologies, a leader in geospatial technology solutions, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Abuja, Nigeria. This role requires a proactive individual with 2 to 3 years of HR experience who will manage our human resources operations and ensure our team remains motivated and aligned with our company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage recruitment processes including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Administer employee benefits, payroll, and leave applications.
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws and company policies.
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
• Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
• Conduct performance and salary reviews to ensure fair compensation across all departments.
• Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
• Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies.
• Gather and analyse data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates.
• Organise quarterly and annual employee performance reviews.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field.
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
• Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
• Good knowledge of employment/labour laws in Nigeria.
• Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems will be a plus.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Aptitude in problem-solving.
• Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach.
