HSE Training Coordinator
Job Description
- Deliver required HSE trainings to all new personnel before mobilization to site.
- Develop required HSE training packages in line with the Project training requirement.
- Identify Project personnel training needs, update training matrix as required and develop adequate training packages to address the needs.
- Manage and ensure up to date of Company and Contractors’ Training database.
- Prepare and communicate monthly training report.
- Fulfil and communicate HSE general and specific training requirements to Company and Contractors’ personnel.
- Responsible for training methods and delivery.
- Define and advise on training material & equipment requirements
- Develop specific training programs and their execution plans to cover all concerned population to ensure compliance with the HSE training Matrix requirements.
- Conducts both theoretical and practical training sessions on HSE aspect where applicable.
- Develop and use training assessment tools in coordination with HSE hierarchy.
- Take full accountability in presenting & meeting the objectives of HSE training plans.
- Develop & maintain employee training records & renewals within a computer-based structure.
- Act as a member of investigation, inspection and audit team as nominated.
- Develop & issue HSE related safety flashes, flags, bulletins, training hand-outs other
- awareness publications.
- Conducts periodic HSE training audits of both in-house and third-party (including Project Contractors) training programs as part of the continual improvement process as required.
- Ensure Project Contractor personnel attain all Project required trainings before mobilization to site.
- Actively participate in HSE Meetings.
- Ensure suggestions and recommendations resulting from trainees’ feedback are thoroughly assessed and followed-up within a timely manner
- Maintenance and up keeping of all Training equipment and accessories
- Carry out any other duties as may be assigned by hierarch
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree at minimum; Engineering; Environmental; Geological or Sciences; Occupational Health
- Professional Experience in similar position (number of years): 5
- Experience within Oil & Gas project: 5
- Must have integrity, be flexible and proactive
- Must demonstrate ability to act independently as part of a team
- Good communication skills. Good team player, able to communicate effectively with colleague
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications
