- An HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Supervisor ensures a safe and compliant workplace by implementing and enforcing company policies, conducting inspections, investigating incidents, and promoting a positive safety culture.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Monitoring and auditing compliance with HSE standards and procedure.
- Developing and implementing risk management plans.
- Promoting a positive safety culture within the organization.
- Providing HSE training and awareness programs for employees.
- Ensuring proper documentation and reporting of incidents.
- Conducting regular safety inspections and audits.
- Identifying, assessing, and controlling HSE risks.
- Investigating incidents and accidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinating emergency response efforts in case of incidents or accidents.
- Developing and implementing emergency response plans.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure HSE compliance.
- Communicating HSE information to employees and stakeholders.
- Implementing corrective and preventative actions.
- dentifying areas for improvement in HSE performance.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and implement effective control measures.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Relevant HSE Professional certificate is an added advantage
- Proficiency in safety auditing, inspection and identifying hazards.
