HR Manager
The Role
This role is positively challenging and will provide growth to the prospective role holder.
The ideal role holder is a progressive HR professional who is proactive and solutions-oriented, and who will be responsible for strategic management of end-end HR functions, including but not limited to recruitment, operations, and performance management. The major objective of the role holder is to foster a positive high-performing work environment with an organized structure that guarantees business continuity and ensures organizational success.
Most importantly, in line with our client’s standard, he/she should be committed, hard-working, and particular about delivering quality work.
Job Responsibilities
These include but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Nurture a positive working environment through employee engagement initiatives that will motivate and support the existing and future employees.
- Manage the recruitment process; post job ads, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and manage the hiring process.
- Assist new employees with paperwork, coordinate orientation programs, and ensure smooth integration into the organization.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance, maintain performance records, and provide support for employee development.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs, maintain training records, and ensure employees have the necessary skills for their roles.
- Manage payroll processing, maintain employee records, and design employee benefits programs.
- Develop and manage adherence to HR policies and procedures, whilst also ensuring general compliance with legal requirements and best practices throughout human resource management.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands or queries, and resolving conflicts, grievances, or other issues.
- Tracking employee attendance, managing leave requests, and maintaining leave records.
- Maintaining and updating employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Other related tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Professional certification in Human resources e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI etc.
- 4+ years cognate experience in HR Management. Experience working in a Group company is an added advantage.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics.
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office suite, HR systems, and databases.
- Excellent presentation, reporting, and communication (and listening) skills.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices.
- People oriented and results-driven.
- Highly confidential with good integrity.
