Job description: JOB SUMMARYThe Head of Business will oversee the design, enhancement, implementation, reporting, and oversight of The Oak Homes’ operations, business development and sales teams. He/She will play a critical role in helping to shape and guide the future growth and development of Oak Homes.RESPONSIBILITIES:DRIVING BUSINESS DIRECTION
- Drive strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting of business requirements and decision-making process.
- Expand opportunities with existing clients, identify and act on referrals.
- Manage third-party partner and contractor relationships.
- Drive annual goals and deliverables.
- Deliver high-level presentations and proposals when necessary.
- Oversee the Oak Homes’ asset registry and key corporate documentations.
- Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning.
- Ensure compliance with national and local business regulations, and take appropriate action when necessary.
- Build strong relationships with key external stakeholders, government, suppliers, etc. to ensure correct focus and direction for the Oak Homes at operations and technology level.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT/LEADERSHIP
- Coordinate with the human resources department to recruit skilled talent and keep the best employees.
- Mentor and develop staff using supportive and collaborative approach by assigning accountabilities, setting objectives, establishing priorities and monitoring and evaluating results
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and peers in Executive Management to ensure the correct focus.
- Provide clear directions on strategic goals, translating and prioritizing them into business and performance measures.
- Monitor the strict adherence to governance and setting high standards of professionalism across the functions.
SALES AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Generate New Business leads for new developments. JV (minimum 2 new developments per quarter).
- Generate new leads for financing opportunities.
- Manage, monitor and mentor a team of sales representatives towards achieving set goals/targets.
- Meet sales targets as agreed by organization.
- Research on real estate trends, carry out competitor analysis and remain aware of current real estate news.
- Consistently re-brand the company’s products based on information gathered.
- Build a network of potential customers by attending events, trainings, visiting locations where potential customers may reside etc.
- Maintain a professional, and courteous relationship with existing and potential clients • Give daily reports, weekly and monthly documented reports on sales and marketing goals.
- Use marketing online tools to manage team and client communication.
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders
