- We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Graphics and Cyber Security Facilitator to join our team.
- In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality training programs in graphic design and cyber security, equipping our participants with valuable skills for today’s digital economy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive curriculum in graphic design and cyber security principles
- Facilitate engaging workshops, training sessions, and practical exercises for diverse participants
- Design learning materials that cater to various skill levels and learning styles
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to program participants
- Evaluate participant progress and provide constructive feedback
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in graphic design and cyber security
- Collaborate with the education team to continuously improve training programs
- Support participants in developing portfolios and practical projects
- Contribute to Coriftech’s mission of digital empowerment across Africa.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Information Security, or a related field
- Proven experience in graphic design with proficiency in industry-standard tools (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of cyber security principles, threats, and best practices
- Previous teaching or training experience, particularly in technical subjects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in accessible terms
- Passion for technology education and community empowerment
- Experience working with diverse populations, particularly youth and women
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in cyber security (CompTIA Security+, CISSP, etc.)
- Experience in UI / UX design
- Knowledge of web design principles
- Understanding of African tech ecosystem challenges and opportunities
- Fluency in multiple languages relevant to target communities.
