We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the General Manager of Logistics.

As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our logistics operations and business. Your leadership and strategic vision will play a crucial role in driving efficiency, optimizing processes, and ensuring seamless delivery of our products to customers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to improve overall logistics business and operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution.
• Manage and lead a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics strategies with overall business objectives.
• Drive business growth Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high service levels and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and safety guidelines.
• Foster strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, vendors, and other external partners to enhance operational efficiency and negotiate favorable terms.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in logistics management.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (10+ years) in a leadership role within the logistics industry or related field.
• In-depth knowledge of logistics operations including transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control systems, etc.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams as well as external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team towards common goals while fostering a positive work environment.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach towards resolving issues promptly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
•  Proficiency in using logistics software and MS Office Suite.
