General Manager (Drivers Training Institute)
Job Description:
- Co-ordinate and manage all divisions under the subsidiary, including driving school, professional drivers academy, and defensive driving training.
- Collaborate with all divisional heads in the subsidiary to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency in all products and services offered.
- Ensure maximum sales production of all divisional products is maintained through effective marketing strategies and customer engagement.
- Align all training programs with the organization’s vision and mission statement, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that all work tools and resources related to the subsidiary are effectively utilized and maintained to meet quality standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach in the general outlook of the subsidiary, ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and submit all monthly, quarterly, and yearly production reports for management review, highlighting the profitability and performance of the subsidiary.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and expansion opportunities for the subsidiary.
- Provide leadership and direction to staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is desirable.
- Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in the transportation or education sector, with a focus on training and development.
- Passion for Training and imparting knowledge.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving business growth and profitability.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to driver training and transportation.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and other relevant software applications.
- Certification in management or related field is an advantage.
