IP Network Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, configure, and troubleshoot various network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
Implement and maintain network protocols, such as BGP, OSPF, and MPLS (depending on company needs).
Conduct network monitoring and analysis to identify and resolve network connectivity issues.
Ensure optimal network performance by optimizing routing protocols, managing network traffic, and implementing capacity planning strategies.
Participate in network upgrades and migrations, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption.
Document network configurations accurately and maintain up-to-date network diagrams.
Collaborate with other teams, including SIP Network engineers and system administrators, to ensure the overall effectiveness of the IT infrastructure.
Provide technical support to internal users regarding network-related issues.
Stay up-to-date on the latest networking technologies and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
Stay updated with industry trends and market conditions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum [5] years of experience working with IP network infrastructure.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols and technologies.
Experience with configuring, security, and troubleshooting network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong technical communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
